Requirements by countries
Make sure to be informed about the requirements requested by the country of destination and the airline in which you are travelling with. Don’t forget to check regularly, as these requirements can vary constantly. You may consult the updated terms at the official websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country, the airline´s web or at the embassy. Here are some examples:

Do you need test results in English or another language?
Our results reports are in Spanish and also English and German.
Do you need a test that shows sensitivity and specificity requirements to travel?
Our PCR Test and Antigen Test are according to performance standards of ≥97% specificity ≥80% sensitivity in viral load over 100.000 copies / ml.
These are “fit to fly” tests.
How do we provide the results?
Generally Test results are fetched showing a printed paper , an email or a text message that indicates the negative result. Just check with destination country/airline. We provide the results by:
- SMS
- Email address
- Patients online system (IMED App or https://online.imedhospitales.com)
In all cases you will access a pdf file of the report with the results translated in Spanish, English and German.
Is the antigen test a "lateral flow test"?
Yes, our antigen test is a "lateral flow test". Lateral flow test referres to the test technique based in a cassette with a cellulose strip where the sample scrolls (nasopharyngeal or blood remnants).
